1. Voice Data (Processed On-Device)
When you use the voice input feature to create notes, reminders, and habits, your speech is processed locally on your device using Apple's native speech recognition framework. This voice data is not stored on our servers after processing and is never sent to any third-party service.

2. Usage Data (Anonymous)
We may collect anonymous usage data to improve the app. This helps us understand which features are popular and diagnose crashes. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

3. Account Information (Optional)
You are not required to create an account to use basic features like voice notes, reminders, habits, and iCloud sync.
If you choose to use social features (e.g., sending reminders to friends), you will need to sign in with your Apple ID. For these users, we collect only:

• Your name (as provided by your Apple ID).
• Your email address (as provided by your Apple ID).

We do not store or have access to your Apple ID password. Your data is associated with your unique Apple ID identifier only when you enable social features.

How We Use Your Information
SpeakNote uses the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To convert your speech into text notes and reminders.
• To deliver notifications at your specified times.
• To sync your data across your Apple devices (if you enable iCloud).
• To improve app performance and fix bugs.
• To enable sending and receiving reminders between users who have consented.

Third-Party Services
We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personally identifiable information to outside parties. SpeakNote uses Apple's native frameworks for speech recognition and push notifications. No voice data is sent to third-party servers. Your reminders are stored on our secure servers only to enable the social feature of sending them to friends.

Data Storage and Retention

• Local Storage: All your notes, reminders, and habits are stored locally on your device.
• iCloud Sync (Optional): If you enable iCloud sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
• Social Feature Data: If you use the social feature, your sent/received reminders are stored on our secure servers. You can delete this data at any time (see "Your Rights" below).

Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access and Portability: You can access all your notes and reminders directly within the app.
• Correction: You can edit your notes and reminders at any time.
• Deletion (Local Data): You can delete all your local data at any time by deleting the app or clearing app data in your device settings.
• Deletion (Social Feature Account): If you have signed in for social features, you can request account deletion by contacting us at speaknote.app@gmail.com. All associated data (sent/received reminders) will be removed from our servers within 30 days of your request.

Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, or unauthorized disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

Children's Privacy
Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
